Childhood immunisations
We give the vaccines in the HSE primary childhood immunisation schedule, at 2, 4, 6, 12 and 13 months. These are free for all children. We will send you a reminder when your child’s next vaccines are due.
Flu vaccine
The flu vaccine is recommended every autumn for people at higher risk, including people aged 60 and over, people with certain long-term conditions, pregnant women, healthcare workers and children aged 2 to 17. It is free for those eligible under the HSE programme.
Clinic dates will be posted in our News section each autumn.
COVID-19 vaccine
The COVID-19 booster is offered to those recommended by the HSE, usually alongside the flu vaccine in the autumn [CONFIRM].
Pneumococcal vaccine
Recommended for people aged 65 and over and for some people with long-term conditions. It protects against pneumonia and other pneumococcal infections.
Shingles vaccine
Available privately for adults who want protection against shingles. Please ask your GP whether it is suitable for you [CONFIRM PRICE].
Vaccines in pregnancy
Whooping cough (pertussis), flu and COVID-19 vaccines are recommended during pregnancy to protect you and your baby. Your GP will discuss timing with you at your antenatal visits.
